Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical & administrative support to the project team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager on the project.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide administrative support for projects in various stages of design, estimating and construction.
Assist Estimators with analysis of specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.
Support Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules.
Track permit requests and access requests in advance.
Initiate, prepare, review, track, post and distribute RFIs, and change orders.
Receive, prepare, review, process, forward and track status of submittals.
Assist in preparation of bid packages.
Maintain organized and detailed construction files, project records and logs.
Keep-up daily work reports.
Maintain as-builts drawings as work is completed.
Track, document and manage project issues and conditions.
Track, maintain and manage of project Dunning letters.
Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
Assist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports.
Assist in project close-outs.
Assist on payment requisition preparation.


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred.
Must have five (5) years of full-time experience in project management, design, construction, operations, administration, architectural, electrical or mechanical/plumbing or related field.
Three (3) years administrative experience with a construction consultant or a construction contractor or related industry.
Able to read architectural and engineering drawings.
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office with the ability to manipulate and edit data and create reports.
Proven oral and written communication skills and the ability to compose correspondence and reports.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to cooperate effectively with all levels of an organization.
Motivated, self-starter, patient and able to work independently.
Results oriented.
